The taught modules cover all the major functional areas of business, including finance, marketing, human resources, and information systems. Building on this core knowledge, the degree explores the cultural, ethical, and interpersonal challenges within today’s multicultural global business environment. This includes understanding how SMEs compete globally, ethics and social responsibility, and how organizations use technology to support global operations and achieve a competitive advantage.

In your final year, the “Major Project” encourages you to apply the skills and knowledge gained during the course, combined with current academic research, to further develop your professional expertise and career prospects. This project helps you gain a broad understanding of key business areas, highlighting the importance of different functions.
