Overview

The hospitality sector employs 3.2 million people, accounting for 10% of all employment, 6% of businesses, and 5% of GDP. Despite challenges, it continues to unlock its potential as a significant engine for economic growth. Following a difficult 2020, consumer eagerness to visit hospitality venues persisted in 2021 and 2022, positioning the sector to drive the UK’s economic revival post-pandemic.

This course structure enables students to understand and evaluate business management concepts while preparing them for the hospitality sector through contemporary case studies, guest speakers, and off-site visits. This approach helps students develop their knowledge, commercial awareness, and expertise within the industry.

*All students enrolled in this degree will have free membership in the Institute of Hospitality, which unites professionals, promotes excellence, and facilitates learning.
