
Overview
The BSc (Hons) Public Health program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve and protect public health. It focuses on reducing health inequalities among individuals, groups, and communities through coordinated action.
This course provides students with opportunities to gain contemporary knowledge and understanding of diverse public health practices. It also fosters an appreciation of the wider determinants of health inequalities, social policy, related theories, and their application to public health.

Standard Entry: Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification (GCSE’s or equivalent)
- Level 3 qualification (GCE or equivalent)
- Level 4 - Higher National Certificate
Work Experience Route: Those who do not meet the above criteria may apply through work experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a skilled job role
- or 2 years in any job category
