Overview
Our four-year BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Foundation Year provides essential knowledge and practical skills for a professional career in engineering.
The Foundation Year offers an excellent grounding in engineering fundamentals, electronics, and mathematics. You will explore various subjects, including mechanics, mathematics, and electrical/electronic engineering, preparing you for the increasingly cross-disciplinary nature of the field.
Alongside developing your technical skills, we will help you build lifelong learning skills, enabling you to reflect on, articulate, and transfer them to everyday life, maximising your success. In your final year, you can choose from several optional modules, including renewable energies and advanced embedded systems, among others.
This program is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council.
