Tourism is recognized as a leading sector in the UK government’s future economic planning. In collaboration with the national tourism agency ‘Visit Britain/Visit England,’ they are developing a significant and long-lasting strategy to drive economic growth by increasing productivity through skill development, career pathways, and addressing seasonality. Consequently, tourism continues to demand specialist graduates who understand business and tourism management theories and possess practical experience.
This course is designed to equip students with the key business skills necessary for a successful career in the tourism sector. It focuses on current challenges facing the industry, such as sustainability, global issues, ethical tourism, diverse competition, and crisis management.
