Employers from the healthcare sector have been directly involved in designing this course. Collaborations with these partners explore the skills employers seek and ensure they are embedded within the course. You will also benefit from lecturers with significant industry experience.

This course provides various opportunities to develop the attitudes, abilities, and competencies needed to work in health and social care environments, both locally and internationally. Today’s health and social care organisations are exciting, complex, and varied. Successful practitioners need to be innovative and resilient. This course offers real-life case studies that draw on prioritisation, negotiation, and care planning skills.
You will graduate with solid sector awareness and a strong understanding of the interplay between health and social circumstances. This should enable you to take advantage of numerous job opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures within the sector.

Standard Entry: Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification (GCSE’s or equivalent)
- Level 3 qualification (GCE or equivalent)
- Level 4 - Higher National Certificate
Work Experience Route: Those who do not meet the above criteria may apply through work experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a skilled job role
- or 2 years in any job category
